Possibly bricked my console. I have reset the console (not including games and apps) and...

It is possible that the power brick is damaged, but try this:

1. Unplug the brick from its power supply from the wall.

2. Unplug the brick from the console.

3. Push the power button on the console about 3-4 times to pull everything from the system.

Hopefully by doing that, it will reset the brick.

A friend asked me to try playing the games on my phone with the gamespass app, so I tried it, and the load fine on the app, but stil problems on console? Guessing it's a bricked console?

My console has become useless. It takes forever to start up after countless hard resets and fully unplugging it. When I finally get to the home screen there is no notification that I've been signed in and the clock is always reset to 12:03pm. I can use the
controller but as soon as I select any game or app, including settings the console freezes. As stated by others I can hold the middle button til the controller vibrates and brings up the options for turning off the console/controller. I can't select anything
but I can press the middle button again to close this. That's all I can do on my console for now, it can't connect to the internet has become a "brick" as well.

Hi, thanks for your reply! I am still having issues, but I'm curious if it is at all because there is too much residual dust in my power brick. I don't think I've ever cleaned it since I got the console. It was positioned next to the console against the side of my entertainment center, just collecting dust these past few years. As I was cleaning the console, I gave no thought to the power brick, and I moved the power brick where dust may have collected.

Is it possible my issues stem from this? Is it possible that compressed air can clean the dust, and my console can work again?

I have now hard reset the console twice and restarted the console numerous times and tried to run games and apps. It still constantly won't run games. Are there any other possible solutions?
