    [Possible xCloud bug] xCloud (web) requires me to click sign-in every day to access the beta


    I have access to the xCloud web beta and whenever I go to the website (at least daily) I have to click the sign-in button on the top navbar to get past the landing page for the non-beta members. Clicking it redirects me to the game selection screen. It is not breaking anything, it is an annoying few seconds before I can play a game.

    The website: xbox.com/play

    Expected result: Instantly shows me the game selection screen

    Actual result: I am signed out and it shows me the landing page for non-beta members. Clicking the sign-in button instantly redirects to the correct page without any active authentication. (Basically, I am signed in, but xbox.com doesn't know it.)

    Frequency of this issue: About daily, might have to do something with authentication cookies expiring

    Versions: Google Chrome Version 90.0.4430.93 (latest official build) on windows 10 20H2 (build 19042.928)
