    Possible workaround for current boot issues


    I experienced boot issues with my own Series X on Alpha-skip and have found the issue to be quite misleading, a hard reset might not be required for you either. Try the following:


    1. Your console may seem stuck on the boot logo, give it awhile and see if it loads into a black screen.


    2. It's not actually a frozen black screen, the dash just didn't load. Hold the Xbox button on the controller and go into report a problem.


    3. Write your report (or not) and back out or hit the Xbox button on the controller again and the quick menu should come up. Either way should allow you to return to home just fine.

    It may not work for everyone but worth a shot to save the trouble of resetting everything.

    High Latency Issues

    This post belongs in the Early Access forums.

    However, the current workaround for this issue is to go to Settings>Preferences and toggle the PlayTo setting. That should get you back to normal speeds.

    If you use Energy Saving mode (rather than Instant On/Connected Standby) you will need to do this each time you boot your console until the issue is fixed.
