    Possible Teredo IP Address fix!


    I recently had my cable service interrupted, and when I got it back I kept getting a "Teredo IP Address cannot be found" error message when testing my multiplayer connection. I eventually was able to get the connection fixed by choosing
    a different port in the advanced settings area of the network feature in my Xbox One's settings menu. I chose Manual for my port selection and 50610 from the drop down menu. So far I've had no issues, but I honestly have no clue what port 50610 may allow (or
    not allow). Use this fix at your own risk, and let me know how it goes!

    Is this the network's fault or my router? Also is there any other fix besides hard resetting.

    Greetings!

    If you haven't experience any problems in the past, regarding the Teredo mechanism, and that you've tried the basic steps, suchs as: Power cycle your networking Equipment, clear your consoles network settings back to factory defalts (Clear MAC address),
    run the Xbox One network diagnostic tool (Test Network Connection), then I would suggest a hard reset of your console, back to its default settings.

    Here's how:

    If you can’t hear your friends online, or you can’t join or host an Xbox Live multiplayer game, go to
    Network > Settings in the Xbox app and check
    NAT type    .

    If it says Teredo is unable to qualify, your PC is unable to obtain a Teredo IP address.

    Teredo is a networking protocol that’s used to establish secure communications between clients and servers, and to facilitate connectivity between devices behind routers that use network address translation
    (NAT).
