Possible sponsorship for non-profit

My name is Carl Jenkins. I am a USMC Veteran that is rated for 100% permanent and total disability through the VA. I suffer from PTSD and have used video games for mental health therapy for several years. Recently, I have become interested in creating a non-profit organization that streams video games while playing with others and discussing mental health challenges and ways to possibly overcome them using video games.

Some obstacles that may come up are people that may not have access to quality PC's or game consoles. This is where a sponsorship would come in. Would it be possible for a sponsorship from Microsoft to provide a small number of low end PC's capable of playing video games or gaming consoles to be used by people participate in the organization for mental health?

There should not be an issue with creating a Let's play or stream for Sea of thieves as the game has fully released.

If you are looking to make profit off of content for the game we suggest reaching out to the
developer to see about sponsorship or deals for content creation.

Keep in mind that making profit off of intellectual property can result in legal action if not done properly. Always best to check with the creators first.

One thing you need to consider is what a company considers a volunteer. A volunteer is someone who helps out where they can in a Non-Profit organization. Although we are volunteering our time to help out other gamers it is not for a non-profit organization.

When you say in a public location do you mean it will be free for use, or that there's some charge associated for it? If it is for a charge, is it a fundraising/non-profit event, or for profit?
