Possible Security Concern, regarding unspecified Communications Ban

I was randomly banned a week ago. No information regarding the suspension on Enforcement.Xbox.com. PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to send a Case Review. I called support and was told to wait a day.

One week goes by, same old thing. I call support to see whats up. Given no info regarding ban. Except for a case review.

I ask if an agent sent in the Review?

No, it's not policy for agents to send Case Reviews.

If your agents didn't send it. And I PHYSICALLY COULD NOT.

Then who the &%$# sent that? And why am I not given a specific reason to be banned?

Recent Concern Regarding Console Ban

I've only signed onto 2 different devices ever with this account.

 

I'm honestly thinking about switching to PS4 this paycheck. Your support staff and decisions are just awful.

Like no, I never thought to either reset my Xbox or refresh the page. I'm an idiot who definitely didn't study computer electronics.

 

1. xbox support has nothing to do with suspensions they are all handled by the enforcement team at their website so xbox support can only tell you if there is a suspension on the account and the length of the suspension they have no more info then that.

2. if you are signing in at enforcement.xbox.com and do not see an orange hammer on the main screen either you are signed into the wrong account. or it is a console suspension which would not show up on the enforcement teams website the way to test to see
if its a console suspension is to sign into the console with a different account and test to see if it gives you the same issue.

If you see the orange hammer on the website and you click on it and see the suspension it will tell you the what violation of the code of conduct was that the suspension was for what privileges where taken away and the length of the suspension.

In the box next to that IF the suspension is eligible then there would be a link to apply for a case review.

Some suspensions are not eligible for case reviews and would not have a link there.

1. 24 hour suspension but you said this has been going on a week now

2. 90 day suspension this is the last resort for suspensions before they permanently suspend your account.

What exactly are you seeing when you go to the website that you say that there is not information about the suspension?

Is there not an orange hammer when you sign into the website? If so make sure you are signed into the correct account. You can check the email associated with an account in the console settings by going to the account tab and clicking on sign in security
and passkey.

 

You're right! I never thought I was on a different account than the one Ive had for NINE YEARS.

I'm a moron who is signed into another account. Even though I only have ONE, and can only POSSIBLY sign into ONE!

Only logs are completed suspesions. Nothing else.

So if you only have one account and it is not showing up on the enforcement teams website then your console is actually suspended and not your account.

There are 2 types of suspensions

1. Account level- no matter what console the profile is signed it loses those privileges. and can be seen at the enforcement teams website.

2. Console level- no matter what profile is signed into the console it loses the priviliges. and can not be seen on the enforcement teams website. there are 2 ways to test to see if this is the problem

1. sign in wit a different account on the console and if you have the same problem then its a console ban.

2. contact xbox support and have them pull up any account that has been signed into that console and it will show them any enforecement actions brought against the account and any console that has had a ban on it that the account has been signed into.

console bans are not eligible for a case review.

 

Yeah. The console is banned. Definitely.

The one I'm using RIGHT NOW is banned.
