    Possible malfunctioning Xbox one X?


    Hi, I'm having trouble with my new Xbox One X i seem to keep getting ping spikes when i play online games, i have 2 other xbox one's in my house that don't have this issue and one of the is next to the same spot as the One X and it's not having this issue.
    It seems to resolve for 30mins or so when i hard reset my console and also when i connect to my other wireless on my router. I've tried everything from port opening to reformatting my Xbox one X nothing seems to be working and i'm starting to think its a hardware
    malfunction. Does anyone have a solution?

    on a wireless connection.

    Hi

    How many people are using the same internet in your household ? People can confuse fast internet with strong internet. Depending on how many people use the same internet and what they're doing. That may be what's causing your ping to spike. Some games like
    Rainbow Six Siege need a super strong connection and can spike when someone else uploads a photo or starts downloading something

    Have you tried clearing the MAC address by chance ?

    remove the plug for the console, plug it with the ethernet cable. You can try deleting your network from the console then put it back
