    Possible lightening strike .... XBox One S


    Hi, following a lightening strike my router got fried and I had to order a replacement which arrived yesterday.

    After setting up the new router complete with new wifi name and password I tried starting the XBox One S.

    It beeps on and then after half a sceond beeps off. I have tried all the usual tricks and suggestions including repeatedly pressing the eject button for a long time. Just the same outcome of beep on beep off. Unplug for 10 seconds, 10 minutes, 30 minutes,
    overnight. Nada!

    My main concern is a hard reset will lose all my data and there are months in real time of saved games there.

    I guess the only step now is to send it off fro repair but will they be able to store and save my data?

    Any help would be very welcome. Thanks in advance.

    I've gotten a hunter thingy and care packages frequently, and a lightening strike once.

    What SSR's do you rock?

    I switch them off a bit, but keep them low enough to get . Usually a hk/cp/lightening strike uav/hk/cp or hk/lightening strike/sentry.

    If I'm earning them frequently I'll bump it up slightly, but usually just go back to those fairly soon.
