    Possible feature request: phone notifications for certain friends


    Is there any way to be sent a text message on my phone when certain friends are playing games online? I would love to be mistaken about this, but I suspect the answer is no.

    If that's the case could you guys maybe add that? These days I get notifications from other companies about all sorts of far less meaningful things and I would love to know if certain specific friends were playing certain games. So ideally I should be able
    to put alerts on certain specific friends for certain activities and get a message on my phone when the specified criteria are met...

    So for example, it would be great to know when certain friends (like ones who have known me for more than 10 years) are logging into overwatch or other fun games.

    Or for example, it might also be good to know when my brother is logged in at all.

    The current notifications are OK if I also happen to be in front of my game console, but a lot of us just have other things that we have to do and so we are frequently somewhere else.

    [/quote] It showed up under messages. It said friend request. Also, I'm on my dashboard right now looking at someone who isn't on my friend's list and I have the option to "Add friend".
