    Possible Bug: Xbox Needs to be Restarted to Use Hulu


    If Hulu isn't the last app I have used I have to restart my entire Xbox everytime I want to use it. Evennif i have just turned my Xbox on. This has been a recent development.

    The reason why I need to change country because I need to watch Hulu plus through Xbox

    And since my account is registered as Canadian and Hulu plus is not available in Canada I can't see Hulu app in the market place, my IP address should be US so I don't think it's an IP related feature

    "Xbox on" feature useless?

    Nope not useless. Sometimes I just run my Xbox on and use Netflix or Hulu, don't need the controller for that.

    sometimes a simple xbox restart will help pull through missing achievements, sometimes they are just delayed and other times its possible there is an underlying bug. it should pull through soon enough

    This bug has existed since February.

    Destiny breaks the wifi adaptor,

    No need to reboot router.

    Restarting the console should be all that is needed but if that doesn't work you need to go to the advanced network settings in the xbox one the clear alternate mac address. After doing this the console will restart.

    It should hopefully accept your password after that.

    I have no idea if and when this bug will ever get fixed as neither bungie or Microsoft has acknowleged it. Until then the only workaround is to use a wired connection.

    You still need an Xbox Music Pass to stream music with the Xbox Music app. Similar in the way you need a subscription to Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. to use those apps.
