    I use to play 360 years ago, but it stopped playing discs and my friends were switching to ps3 so I decided to buy a new ps3 instead. Fast forward to now and I have been using ps4 but finally decided to buy an Xbox One. I also picked up a used copy of
    Halo Reach with it since I wanted to finally get max level in it. I try to log into my old account, SiMpSoNpA, but it informed me it was banned. I checked the Enforcement website (more like forced to it after logging in) and it shows I've been banned as
    far back as 2011. This was very shocking, but led to being alarming when I realized it wouldn't allow me to enter a Case Review for it. I tried any way possible to find contact info for the Enforcement team in hopes of solving this issue, and the next obstacle
    was that they don't have a live support or email to contact them from. I explained my situation to a normal live support representative, and they tried their hardest to help me find a way of contact. The best way we both found was to hope a moderator here
    could assist me. I hope someone can assist me further. I would be extremely grateful!

    @ EntwinedPizza9 I would recoment to try to go to login.live.com and use the option - cant acces your account. Follow the steps on this page ,and if you don't have access to any alternate email/ phone ( proofs that where added to your account when you created
    initially) you should have a last resort option to fill out a survey or Account Recovery Request - this means that in this form you need to fill in as many accurate details as you can in regards to this Mic account. The more the better. Submit the form and
    wait for a response . If the response from the Account Recovery Request comes back negative , don't panic, you still have one more option. I would recommend to contact Xbox Customer Support , explain that you cannot gain access to your account explain to
    them that you have tried even to complete the Account Recovery Request form and it came back negative.

    PS: in this Account Recovery Request - when you get a reply from it - in the email that you get you will see at the top or at the bottom of the page a " SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER" it should be something like 123XXXXXX - 9 digits. The guys from Customer Support
    can help you out with this, but they will need more details from you so if you don't wanna stay too long on the phone/chat with them make sure that if you reach this last step you have these details: Console serial number, Console ID( you can find this one
    in settings- console stetting -system info on your xbox ) the email address that you used to make the Account REcovery Request , and the ACC. REcovery number and any other details that they may ask you. Try all of this things and I hope it was useful Possibility of regaining old account. :) Good

    Possibility of getting old account back

    You might be able to recover this account if you can provide enough proof that the account is truly yours. It would be best to call phone support to attempt this. 800-4MY-XBOX for the US and Canada.

    unfortunately, you can't recover banned accounts, you'll have to make a new one.

    I am using the new one to post this. I haven't played Xbox in years but saw a good opportunity in the Xbox One to come back. I don't understand why when I go to use my old account, it's banned. I'm
    just wanting the oppurtunity to at least talk with someone and hopefully show this isn't a normal circumstance. The fact that their is a lack of support for this side of Xbox Live is terrifying, as I'm positive others have been in a position like myself where
    all they want is help and it's non existent. Simply being told too bad, make a new account. I spent money on this account, had a positive reputation, I followed rules. This honestly crushes me. Live Support itself does fantastic at helping with issues. I
    remember my account getting compromised before during Phantasy Star days and they were willing to help me get it back. My point being, I wish the entirety of Xbox had this kind of customer support. I'm not gonna say they don't care at all, because
    that wouldn't be fair to them. They try to provide an enjoyable experience, I'm just dissapointed I had to be a casualty.

    website for all information regarding Bans and/or Suspensions.

    Please be aware that any Xbox Live member with an
    active
    enforcement action may
    submit a case for review
    through the account's
    Enforcement History,
    provided the enforcement meets the following requirements:

    • The enforcement's duration is greater than 24 hours in length
    • The enforcement was issued in the last 12 months

    That's the issue though. I can't use Case Review because the ban was issued sometime in 2011, according to the enforcement page. That breaks the 12 month period a bit. The fact the Enforcement team is this hard to reach is incredible.
