port triggering not port forwarding!

Find a function called DMZ host on your router, put your PC's IP and save it. All ports that the IP needs will be open. This is the only function I use and it's simpler and easier than forwarding multiple ports.

UPnP should be disabled if you use port forwarding or DMZ or port triggering.

How do I do port triggering instead of forwarding on this router?

It is not true at all that you want to use Port Triggering, you need to use Port Forwarding. It explains that here:

forums.xbox.com/.../157383.aspx. The reason you don't use Port Triggering is because it only allows for incoming traffic and not trigger the outgoing traffic. Port triggering is like Port Forwarding except that the router provides the port access to a device
that requests it, instead of specifying a device to be used for port forwarding. Port triggering is not very effective, as IP address for devices on a router can be changed. If Port Triggering worked, then UPnP would have worked. For specific instructions
on to set up Port Forwarding for your device, you can look here:

ok. are you sure you port forwarding not using port triggers? Or range forwarding?
