Popcornflix (Binger) achievement glitch

As the title states if you use the popcornflix app you most likely will not be able to unlock the binger achievement (watch 5 episodes from a series in on sitting) due to a glitch that has yet to be fixed. Over 90% of users cannot unlock this no matter
how long they watch. Not sure if this is a way to keep people watching by purposely glitching the achievement or just a lack of poor management of achievement tracking on Xbox's part ? Either way it needs to be corrected.

New Update. Having spoken to Microsoft by chat and Popcornflix via e-mail both parties are blaming the other for the issue. You would think they would try to fix this this instead of blaming each other. This is being posted here to warn others about this
ongoing issue before using the app.

True Achievements, and it seems that no one has been able to earn this achievement since the middle of May. That generally indicates something is definitely going on.

Would you be able to tell me if you remember an update happening around that time? That would help us out. Also, if you could provide a screenshot of your achievements for Popcornflix and linking it in here (you will be unable to upload, but you can link
to it), that would help me out a lot.

Once I have that information, I'll be able to get this up to the proper teams. Thanks so much for bringing this up! Hopefully we can help sort this one out.

 

I can give you the same information that was given to the tech support before. Since having downloaded this app I have had no prompt to update. Other Xbox users who have unlocked this achievement each has stated it was just random when it unlocked and
did not follow the procedures to unlock all the time. Almost everyone I have spoken to that cannot get it to unlock are stuck at 20% progress. This is a link to the achievement page I have with Xbox.com the one does not allow screen shots of the achievement

It has been well over a month now and still no real reply or solution to fixing this "issue". Hope this is actually been checked out by Xbox and not swept under the rug hoping it goes away quietly. Either fix the issue or give credit to those who have
unlocked this achievement. The reason I state this is when you watch a series it will not let you re-watch the same series for credit so you have a limited number of series to get this achievement.

The issue stems from the side of the publisher of the app, which would be Popcorn Flix themselves. Another member tweeted them recently but has not heard back yet.
