    Pop up on my windows screen when I am trying to download Grand theft auto V


    Hello Microsoft or anybody in the tech field,

    I am having an issue with trying to get a game to download. First off, the game is paid for already and in the order section under my account. The issue is it will not allow me to download it and when it does it comes up with this pop up saying that I do
    not have any applicable devices linked to my Microsoft account. Well that is not exactly true because I have gotten a confirmation from my outlook account that the order for this game has been paid for. Then it sent me another email saying that the security
    has been taken over. Well no it has not, it was just me trying to figure out how to get this game to work.

    Also want to mention that when I went into my settings I did exactly what google and Microsoft had said which is to go into your settings and see if troubleshooting would work or updating. The updates are happening right now. Also when I went into my account
    it showed all of my devices.

    If someone from your department can help me out that would be great. Or anyone that sees this post that would be great. Thank you.

    What version of GTA V are you trying to download?

    GTA V has 3 separate versions

    Xbox 360 - this version is not compatible with Xbox One.

    Xbox One

    PC. The PC version is not available to buy via the Windows Store. If you were looking to buy the PC version you need to purchase it via Steam.

    Hi,

    I bought the game through the windows store. The computer I have is a latitude E6230 windows 7 but someone before me downloaded windows 10 software on a windows 7 computer. In fact the computer is so old that it actually has a battery hard drive on the back
    that you can push the two buttons on the side up and it comes out. So that gives you an idea how old this computer is. By the way it is a dell laptop that I am using. And every time I try installing it gives me a pop up saying that the account needs applicable
    to install this game. But it does not ask me to do that for any of the other games I have installed in the past.

    Hi I don't have an Xbox one remote. I have an Xbox 360 remote that plugs into the computer. The version that I bought was the standard version because it was cheaper then buying the premium one. Also I tried downloading the standard grand theft auto v
    one from Rockstar games and it brought me back to the windows store and told me that my account was not applicable.
