Pop up menus WAY too big

I am having an issue with pop up menus and even the on screen keyboard being so zoomed they won't display on screen. I try to change the resolution and the window won't display properly for me to accept the changes, so I can't even do that. I try to redeem
a gift card and the keyboard doesn't even come up. I try to uninstall a game, and again the window that pops up is so huge I can't access it. I am using it on a 4k 8 bit tv, and everything displays properly except the pop up windows and keyboard. This is extremely
frustrating and I would like some advice on how to correct it.

Hello,

Can you please try to reset your Xbox 360's Display settings by following the directions
here? Does this improve after doing so?

Do you have another TV you can try this with and see if this is still blurry?

 

Blurry TEXT on text in pop-up menus???

Hi. I've got a 47" LG Smart 3D LED HDTV with 1080p support and 120Hz refesh rate...I'm using the Xbox 360 slim model, the one without the hard drive. I have it set to 16:9 and 1080p and it's connected
to my HDTV with an HDMI cable.

The picture is great--very sharp, clean, colorful, it's fantastic really, minus the jaggies, but that just helps remind me that I've got sharp and clear picture.

So here's the issue:

Everything looks great except that some aspects of the Xbox User Interface (Dashboard and such, not in-game) especially text in pop-up menus and typing screens and my Gamer picture are considerably lo-rez.
Most of the home menu looks great, but some icons and text in menus are very blurry. I can still read it, but it's ugly next to my crystal clear display everywhere else.

A little help please EVERYONE???

Can you please try and carry out a full console restart by pressing and holding the power button on the front of the console for 5-10 seconds, Once the console has shut down wait for one minute and then restart the console and hopefully everything will be
back to normal.

Definitely try the steps described by gds1972 and if those do not help you can also try the following to reset the console:

1. Hold down the power button on the front of your Xbox One console until it fully powers down, unplug the power cord, and wait 30 seconds. Please note the console must be fully powered
down; the next steps will not work if the console is powered on from connected standby.



2. Plug the power cord back in.



3. PRESS the POWER Button then Hold down the Bind button (located on the side of the console next to the USB port) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console next to the
optical disc slot), continue holding down Bind and Eject until you hear a second “power up” chime.



4. Then SELECT Reset this Xbox - This Troubleshooter takes you to a page that allows you to select full reset or reset but keep content (this allows you to keep your installed games
and settings!)
