    Poor Xbox series s controller range


    Hello Daniel here, i purchased a controller from a my retailer and I've been using it for a while, at one point the range on it got reduced and only stays connected with USB cord, I tried connected it to another console it did the same thing. I tried connecting with Bluetooth it worked completely fine I tried resetting my console both hard and factory same thing the range of the controller (currently) is under 1 feet i tried the power cycle updating the controller and stuff, i tried with another controller it worked completely fine with my series s console can someone please get back to me as soon as possible? And no I don't have warranty on it. Thank you!

    Controller range issues might be caused by the things that could block the range of your controller from your console. Kindly follow the following troubleshooting steps that I will provide bellow:

    To improve the range of your Xbox controller, you can:

    • -Remove all physical obstructions between the controller and the console.
    • -Minimize wireless interference from other devices.
    • -Ensure that the controller is in direct line-of-sight to the console.
    • Move closer to your Xbox. The range for wireless controllers is 19-28 ft (6-9 m), but things like walls and interference from other wireless devices can reduce the range.

    Just tested two other controllers still very poor signal. Conclusion or my console i faulty or xbox one have s..t signal range overall which would not be very good news
