    I have been trying to diagnose an issue with my headset sound for a couple of weeks now. I find out that it is the controller. I purchased a two pack of the One S bluetooth controllers a few months back. I had to have a long chat with support, just for
    them to tell me that my warranty was only three months on a controller!! I don't get to play as often as I use to either! Fifty plus dollars per controller and Xbox will only stand by their China product for three months. Wow. I haven't been this disappointed
    with the quality of anything in quite some time. I have been with Xbox for 10 years, but if the quality of the product and length of warranty doesn't improve, I'm about to divorce Microsoft/Xbox. I have had to send 2 Xbox One consoles in as well. Now I
    am just losing money when I buy Microsoft products; getting hard to trust a company and Brand name when all you do is hand them money for little in return other than grief and disappointment.

    you could check if there is still warranty for that controller, please see the steps on this support page on how to set up a repair for a controller:

    https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/accessories/wireless-controller-broken-wont-work

    When setting up a replacement/repair request it will also show if the device is still within warranty or not.Duration of warranty might be different per region.

    Cant sighn in after up date

    my disc drive was broken due to xbox poor quality, also had ring of death (xbox is only 4 years old) my xbox was no longer under warranty, so i took it to the shop for repair, (alot cheaper than the microsoft repair) which was nearly the price of a new console.

    now we cant update XBOX YOU ARE A JOKE

    I’ve already waited 2 days. This is very poor from MS as they appear to have switched off their support. I’m now left with a broken controller that’s in warranty but I’m unable to claim on the warranty.

    Terrible customer service.
