    Poor sounds quality when playing Xbox game via App on Windows 11 using BT Headphones


    Once I enter game menu in both Halo Infinite and Aliens: Fireteam Elite, the sound becomes flat and barely hearable. It's like I was using $1 headphones.

    Disabling hands free setting for BT device did not helped. When i disable the game, sound is back to normal. There is no such issues with Steam games.

    I did the troubleshooting, no issues has been found. All drivers are up to date, so is Windows.

    Any ideas how to fix it?

    I would like set your expect that not all BT headphones are compatible for Xbox games on Windows device. However we troubleshooting steps that might help you out with your concern.


    Firstly, if you're headphones connected via wireless on your device you may try to connect it via wired to see if there is any improvement.

    You can try resetting the game settings to default. To do this, go to the game's settings menu and look for an option to reset to default settings. This will reset all settings to their default values, which may help resolve the issue.

    If if still doing the same thing, you may try to test it with a headphones that you can confirm it's compatible with Xbox games.



    If none of the above steps work, you can try running the games in compatibility mode. To do this, right-click on the game's shortcut or executable file, select "Properties," and then click on the "Compatibility" tab. From there, you can select a previous version of Windows to run the game in compatibility mode.
