Poison Master - Makes 100% difficulty a walk in the walk.

Man, I haven't realized just how over powered poisons are in this game.

I used poisons in Skyrim and they were awesome, but Oblivion takes them to a WHOLE new level. They are good in Skyrim, but in Oblivion, OH GEEZUS they are over powered.

What makes the two game's poisons different is one thing, the "weakness to ???" spells in Oblivion.

That makes all the difference. You can turn a weak poison into something that can bring down the toughest enemies you've faced in this game.

I been experimenting with a lot of different poisons and ingredients with the "weakness to _____" spells.

And I've found one particular combination that just………..destroys EVERYTHING……just………..wow man, it's pretty much cheating. Even with the difficulty slider at MAX, every enemy i've hit with this poison ONCE, has died.

One single attack is all it takes. And death is Imminent.

So what I do is pretty much this:

I hit the enemy with a weakness spell, which will amplify the poisons damage, and then, hit them with the poison and it will damage them over time.

This is the combination that I used to achieve that.

I spelled Called IMPOVERISH BISSELL

It's a ranged custom spell I made. It's three weakness spells into ONE. So instead of casting three spells, I made a custom spell that grants all three effects at once.

Weakness to poison, fire and shock 100% for 5 secs. Cost 63 magicka.



The poison I created is called IMMINENT DEATH.

To make the poison

You need 4 ingredients that will give fire, shock and health damage.

1 ingredient that gives you both health and shock damage.

1 ingredient that gives you both health and fire damage.

1 ingredient that gives you fire damage

and the last that gives you shock damage

This will give you a poison that does health, fire, and shock damage over a period of time.

So you see where this is going right???

The poison part of the 100% weakness spell will double the effects of
ANY poison. Poisons that don't do damage, the duration's doubled. So this doubles the fire,shock, and health damage from the poison.

the 100% fire/shock weakness part of the spell will stack with the poison weakness and double the fire/shock damage again. So it's doing 3 times the fire and shock damage. Poison weakness by itself will double the fire and shock damage, by adding the fire and
shock weakness, it multiplies the damage again.

The weakness spell only needs to last long enough for you to hit the enemy with the poison. I put it at five seconds as it's just long enough for me to ready my arrow, aim and take shot.

The damage from the poison will still be amplified once the enemy has been hit even after the weakness spell wears off.

And you just sit there and watch their health drop REALLY fast. Even enemies like atronachs thats immune to all poisons die from this as its a 100% weakness, negating any poison/fire/shock resistances they have.

The poison that I create does 5 health damage over 19 secs. and 6 fire/shock damage over 23 secs. So it's doing 17 damage per second. Once the weakness spell amplifies it……….its now 46 damage per second.

Also, if you have any elemental weapons that does fire or shock damage over time, that will do double damage as well after the weakness spell.

I have shock arrows that I bought from the khajit in the dark brother hood.

Even if you don't have high enough destruction to make a weakness spell with three effects or high enough alchemy to make poisons to get you all three damaging effects, you can still use it, by just using two or one effect. It won't be as powerful as all three
effects, but it is still VERY powerful. Just doing fire and health damage is good enough to get the job done. I did fire and health till I got my alchemy high enough to find an ingredient that give me health and shock damage.

Just wanted to share this new experience I learned of.

what IS your hardest achievment, or WAS your hardest achievement..

Oblivion Walker is only difficult because it is possible to miss the Artifacts if you choose the wrong options.

The hardest achievement is not one that gives gamerscore, it is to 100% the game (as far as possible) on Master difficulty.

 

Is Inferno Master 5 worth it?

Master 5 is the only difficulty I play on because I want a challenge of stronger enemies and lower levels of difficulty make the game to easy in my opinion, except fighting Belial in master 5 when he makes the ground explode with poison pools he kills me
instantly.

My barb is lvl 29P!

 

I was always a fan of alchemy. I had a list of my favourite potions & poisons until I restored my computer & forgot to save that document. Have to say never thought of coupling weakness spells with poisons, just made sure my 4 & 5 effectors had paralysis
used from stealth then run up & bash head in with a mace!!

I did find that the shivering isles ingredints were really useful but for the biggest numberd potoin mix a master level feather potion you get 220 ish extra weight for 12 minutes, outrageous nothing else comes close. With half a dozen of these (&1 or 2 other
feather items ) you can COMPLETELY empty varsa baalim of treasure & fast t
