    Hi

    I have Xbox one console and Kinect 360, as soon as starting the Kinect system is throwing this error message " Plug In your Kinect"

    I did the possible troubleshooting, like restarting the console, it did not work. then went to the settings -->Devices & Streaming-->Kinect-->here also getting the same error message.

    recently bought the Kinect game sports rival cd, while trying to start it is showing error code (0x87e1000f).

    Kinect connection is lighted in green.

    Not sure else to do... Please suggest.

    Check the Kinect Settings? activate Kinect for Chat?

    Check your Privacy and security Settings...

    Issue with Kinect not being Mandatory

    Imploive, the Kinect is still mandatory, just you can't disconnect it, some titles and some games will offer more functionality with Kinect, so it might very well need Kinect plugged in for that title to run.

    User buys game -> "Your Kinect is not plugged in, plug in Kinect to play" -> *Crap* person has to go out and buy one because they stupidly sold it

    unplug your kinect the turn your console off and switch off at the wall then turn your console back on the go to settings and kinect then plug your kinect back in and should work
