plis microsoft fix crash wi fi rush

Facing the same here..using wi-fi to download, when it reaches 79% crashes.. every time.. even in ethernet cable...

Fair enough, just thought I'd mention it.

It is strange that Wired is slower than Wi-Fi given, ordinarily, it is the opposite way round, namely Wi-Fi being slower. So, Wi-Fi is faster for downloading etc but results in you getting lag....wired gives no lag but has massively reduced download speeds. It's weird

I don’t want to blame Microsoft for this because I never heared this from anyone before and can’t find any fix on the internet as well, but if someone had the same mysterious issue I want to hear how they fixed it.

Wi-Fi signal strength, your Xbox may not be receiving a strong enough Wi-Fi signal to connect to your network. Try moving your Xbox closer to your Wi-Fi router, or consider adding a Wi-Fi extender or repeater to boost your Wi-Fi signal.

Network ID and Password, make sure that you are entering the correct network ID (SSID) and password for your Wi-Fi network. Double-check to ensure that you are not mistyping any characters or accidentally using capital letters when they are not required.

If you are only being kicked offline when using wireless and it works fine when wired then the problem is likely to be Wi-Fi interference.



To fix this you would need to go into your routers settings using a web browser and then change the Wi-Fi channel.



I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Xbox kept disconnecting but laptops and ps3 worked fine. Changing the Wi-Fi cannel fixed it.



If you post the make and model of your router someone might be able to give you instructions on how to change the Wi-Fi channel.
