    Please, return Skype App functionallity to Xbox One + Kinect.


    Please. Return Skype App for Xbox One. Removing an existing feature is one of rhe dumbest things to do. I bought my parents an Xbox One + Kinect so that they could videocall easily my sister who lives in France just to find out that few months later, feature was disabled.

    skype for xbox 360?

    Skype should be made available on Xbox 360 as people dont want to buy a Xbox one just just for skype. So please make a Skype app for Xbox 360 please.

    Skype won't start

    One workaround to get Skype working again that was discovered on the Skype Community is to open the Skype app in snapped mode:

    community.skype.com/.../4229708

    Once launch and signing in to the app has finished you can switch back to fullscreen and the app should continue to work normally onwards.

    Would be great if you can try it out and report back if it worked for you as well.

    I could see Skype working on Xbox, since they have the means to run an app such as it. Kinect and the Xbox Cam both run video chat, so it would be relatively easy to make an app that uses video and voice/mic compatibility to chat. However, Xbox already has
    video chat and Kinect chat for large regions of the world; I would think Microsoft would rather further that app instead of allowing a Skype app on Xbox.

    I am having the same problem with my Kinect and Skype on the Xbox One. I haven't found any solutions anywhere, including the Xbox forum. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling Skype on the Xbox One, but that didn't work. Also tried unplugging the Kinect, making
    sure camera and microphone permissions were set appropriately for Skype. No luck.
