Please redeem my gems for Xbox currency

To whom it may concern,

I would like to convert myVIP gems into xbox digital currency. The store says out of stock for a digital item which is not possible. My current gems = 2235 which would be according to your store 40000 xbox reward credits. Can someone please assist?

Microsoft rewards was refunded

You've kind of combined two different things. Did you use Microsoft Rewards points for an Xbox gift card or did you redeem gems from the Xbox Rewards program for rewards credits?

If the refund is showing on Sign in to your Microsoft account, that means you had that currency added to your account.

You have until June 15 to use the gems so you'll have to keep checking to see if they refill it again. If not, the gems would be converted to Microsoft Rewards points. There is no way to have them converted to currency unless you redeem them for an Xbox
gift card.

Gonna have to ditto the feeling. As soon as I saw the announcement I went to the vault to redeem. All that is left is freemium game currency and wallpapers, which I have no interest in either of those. I was trying to save up for another level’s reward
but not now.

I do not enjoy the thought of losing the value of my earned gems because I can’t redeem them for something that I would have used. 10k points is what my gems could have gotten me, but it’s looking like after the conversion I’m only going to get 500 unless
more options are put into the vault.

In my opinion, gems do have a real world monetary value because of the “rebates” one gets from buying games. A person could redeem 500 gems for 10k reward points which in turn could redeemed for $10.00 US. After the change the same 500 gems will only net
you $0.50 US. This is an unacceptable devaluation.

So please Microsoft, reinstate the gems for points options in the vault.

Looking at your earlier post, I have to say you are confusing the two different "currencies" used in Xbox Rewards. Here you are showing the credits earned, but this is completely different than the 372 GEMS you claim this number dropped to and are showing
in your other post. There are Credits and Gems on Rewards - Credits are used to redeem in the Xbox/Microsoft Marketplace, Gems earned can be redeemed for select physical merchandise. It is almost impossible for anyone to have earned over 9000 in Gems at this
time since it has only been in place for about 3 months. 9000 credits equates to $9, 10000 Gems amounts to about $400-$500 in redeemable goods. Your Credit amount will be on your My Rewards page unless they have already been deposited into your Microsoft account,
which you would see them there.
