Dear Support Team,

I have not utilized my xbox live account in months. I have been unable to log into xbox live for some time now (6-7 months) due to personal matters outside of gaming.

I am going to be logging into xbox live for the first time in a long time and I have yet to find out when my subscription expires or if it already expired. My only request is please consider the time I was not able to log into xbox live account since it's
a paid subscription. Upon you verifying your records, if you are able to add the time/months that my account was not utilized towards my existing subscription/account it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately at this time, there is a service alert affecting Xbox Live particularly with signing into accounts. Please check out the Xbox Support
site to view the current alert, and sign up to be notified when the Xbox Live services are restored.

Hey there Emo! Was this Gmail account ever used for other Live services, like Zune or Games for Windows LIVE? If the service is saying it was already used, then it must have been used somewhere at some time. Could you create a new email or use a different
existing one on your account instead? Let me know, thanks!

Xbox Live Core Services are currently *Limited* This can affect services such as; Signing into Xbox Live, Creating new accounts on Xbox Live, managing those accounts, or recovering an account on a different device.

Xbox believe they have identified the issue causing some players to have problems signing in to Xbox Live. Their team is working to resolve the issue, thanks for your patience

Hi DaedalPopcorn48. I know what you mean, sometimes they can be confusing. Anyway here is my take on it.

Xbox Live - it's the service you use when you log into your account. Doesn't matter if you have the free service or the paid gold subscription, everyone can access Xbox Live.

Xbox Live Account - That's the account you make the first time you use the service.

Xbox Live Membership - That's the membership you are given when you join the service, whether free or gold.

Xbox Live Gold & Xbox Live Subscription - This is the paid service to allow you to use multiplayer, get deals with gold and free games with gold each month. This also includes party chat and a few more perks that you get with gold.
