Please provide information on "HOW TO DELETE X-BOX" FROM MY COMPUTER

HOW DO I DELETE ALL TRACE OF "X-BOX APP" FROM MY COMPUTER. IT IS NOT WANTED. I'M 76 AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN XBOX.IT IS TAKING UP VALUABLE SPACE ON MY COMPUTER.

I want to delete this crap from my computer, but I can't? I didn't ask for aan X-box app and I certainly do NOT want it! Please tell me how to remove these nonsense from my desktop!

 

Is this possible?? Please Help...

I want to buy a Gold x-box live account on my computer or x-box from
Canada. And give the information and the account to use on a different x-box and by a different user in the
United States. I am pretty new at this, however with all of my research and reading done online I have not been able to determine how to do this. Maybe it is not possible?

Right click the app, select more, and pick App settings.

This should bring you to the Xbox app settings, scroll down to the bottom

Select Uninstall, the app should only be using up 26.9 Mb.

You can just uninstall it. It's connected to the Microsoft account and you can just remove that part from your PC.

 

This does not work, as the word "Uninstall" is NOT highlighted and does not respond. I HAVE NO WAY OF GETTING IT HIGHLIGHTED.

 

It's built into the OS so you can't just uninstall it. Not sure why people are responding telling you do that. If you don't know the answer, don't post just to post.

In all honesty, it doesn't take up much space. If you don't want to see it, just hide the notifications from it.

 

The xbox app is part of the Microsoft windows OS just like EDGE and Internet Explorer. It cannot be uninstalled in the traditional way. As mentioned above there are steps to remove it but the app itself should be taking less than 30mbs of space on your
