I recently moved from the US to Australia and naturally I brought my gamer tag with me, I have not transfered my region as I will be going back to the US. Today I went out and bought $20 in MSP (or whatever it's called now) to buy titanfall, I then logged
into xbox.com to redeem my code, my balance went to $20 and I then attempted to buy the game, I never received an option to use my microsoft account so I called xbox support, the guy on the phone then informed me that I first have to confirm the purchase before
I have the option to use my Microsoft account, I thanked him and hung up. Now I do exactly as I was told to do and instead of giving me an option to use my microsoft account it just deducted it from my credit card, I then called xbox support back told them
what happend and I was told that because my gamer tag is American and I purchased the MSP in Australia that their system added those points to my nonexistent Australian account and they can't be used on my gamer tag.

Please explain how you can essentially steal my $20 worth of now useless MSP.

I'm not asking for a free game, I'm not asking for any kind of compensation, all I want is my money refunded into my bank account and withdraw the funds from MY microsoft account, take them all I don't care, the only reason I bought them was to buy titanfall
    anyway.

    :)

    Justify your actions

You'll be waiting a long time as the enforcement team do not use the forums.

In any case, they are under no obligation to show you any proof, something you agreed to when starting your account.

If you have had a communication suspension it's because you broke the rules, which you have admitted to.

Sometimes you may get a thank you message if someone receives enforcement action due to a report you filed but this is very rare.

Other than that you are never told anything so you won't know if someone gets banned/suspended due to a report you file.

Support is nothing to do with enforcement anyway so there's nothing they can tell you or do.

    Justify your actions

Well done Xbox due to your recent communication ban you have placed on my account I have decide to quit all your services and cut all ties as a customer I have spent £1000s of my hard earned money on your products but you allow people to cheat and kill/abuse
me online without any action against these people but I call someone a loser cause they was cheating plus they lost so I was just stating a fact.

You have completely ruin the gaming experience for me I am totally unhappy with your support and choices you don't provide any proof of my apparent actions I am requesting proof of the recent cheaters having received action against them

I don't care about anyones comments other than contact by Xbox I know I'm writing on this post where there is probably a better place to do this but as terrible as Xbox support so is there option for talking to the enforcement team you can only email but
get no reply.PLEASE JUSTIFY YOUR ACTION XBOX

    You can't

Ms points and currency has always been region locked

You could never buy Australian ms points and add it to a american account

The ms points is still spendable and only on an Australian account either you use the region migration tool and spend it although no real point since you are only temporarily visiting

FYI titanfall is region locked also so buying the us version won't help outside of the us

Refunds only go onto the original payment option which in this case is a prepaid voucher

All refund requests you will have to call the us support since your account region is us and pay the long distance charges and talk to billing

Australia support can't do anything because you don't have an Australian account

No. MSP were not always region locked and neither is titanfall since the money was taken out of my credit card instead of my microsoft account. I paid REAL dollars into that Microsoft account and now I can't use it.

    That is theft

Currency is region locked as was stated above. Because you purchased the card in Australia you must use the currency on an Australian account which means changing the region of the account.

Not all content can be downloaded from a different country either. If you were able to download Titanfall without any issues then you were lucky. Please bear this in mind for future purchases.

Finally, even if you change your region to Australia you should note that currency cannot be used on the xbox.com website. In order to use it you must make your purchases from the console store.

Msp has always been region locked currency has been region locked

Only thing that you could do with the msp between regions is to do a region migration which you did not do and them they would transfer but since it us currency it is now cannot be transferred

You could never redeem aus msp points on an us account ever since the Xbox original days
