PLEASE HELP!!! Xbox One X Scorpio Edition

I am quite disappointed with Microsoft Customer Service right now.

I preordered my Xbox One X Scorpio Edition way back as soon as preorders were online.

My order went through fine and i received my Scorpio Edition on November the 7th as promised.

Less than a month later I'm taking my Scorpio to a Microsoft store to get it checked out.

One morning i was playing the Xbox as usual, turned it off to get some lunch and when i turned it back on, all i got was a black screen.

Did a hard reset, disconnected the power for a couple of minutes, and nothing. I triple checked all the wires and my HDMI cable. Even plugged it in to another HDMI port. Nothing.

I called Microsoft Support and they walked me through a couple of steps (hold controller sync button with eject button) but to no avail.

The Xbox just displayed a black screen on my tv and turned itself off within 5 minutes.

So a bit frustrated but optimistic I went to my local Microsoft store (which is about 30-45 minutes away) to have them check it out.

They tried to run the tests I tried to run while on the phone with Support. They even plugged in a USB drive with a reset program or something on it. Nothing. Xbox just displayed a black screen on their tv with their HDMI cable.

The rep at the store said the video card went out.

And here is where things get bad. The rep at the store told me that this console is bad and this isn't the first Scorpio Edition they had come in for the same problem. He simply offered me a new replacement Xbox One X as they didnt have any Scorpio Editions
in stock.

I asked if he can check if any other stores have any in stock or if any are in stock at the warehouse where they ship them out of.

Answer was no and no.

I was a bit hesitant but seeing i didnt have any other choice, i traded in my scorpio edition for a regular xbox one x.

Left the store a bit disappointed but was trying to look at the brightside of having a working xbox one x.

Got home, set it up and all worked well.

Was still disappointed not having my Scorpio Edition.

Knowing Microsoft has pretty good customer service and being very disappointed with the exchange,

I called Support and explained my situation to 5 different people.

I got pretty much the same answer and run around from all 5.

Since I agreed to exchange the consoles, im basically stuck with the One X i got at the store.

I asked every agent if I can exchange the One X i got at the store with any Scorpio Editions they had in stock.

None of the agents were able to see if any were in stock. And one agent did explain to me that if I were to send in the One X I got at the store, i would receive the same exact One X.

I was told by one of the 5 agents that the rep at the microsoft store was suppose to offer a repair of my xbox BEFORE offering a replacement.

I felt maybe that guy saw an opportunity to get a Scorpio Edition for his own use. I'm not sure.

But like ive stated im extremely disappointed in Microsoft Support for seeming to not even try to help with my situation.

I've had an Xbox since the OG and a 360. This is the first time I preordered anything and was extremely excited to have a Scorpio Edition. I've been a member of Xbox Live for 8 years and have always loved the consoles i've played on and the games ive played
on my Xbox's.

I truly don't feel like im asking for too much.

I simply want to exchange the One X i got at the store for a Scorpio Edition.

I understand there will be a wait time if i were to send this console in, which im willing to wait.

The purpose for this post was the raise awareness of my situation and hopefully get someones attention and help me get my Scorpio Edition back.

If anyone can maybe point me in the right direction or help with my problem I will truly appreciate it.
