Please help with 7 days to die

My friend and I got 7 days to die on the gamepass. How do we play co-op on one of our worlds. When he or I create a world we cant find each other when we click on join game and search the name of the world. Can anyone help please? Excuse my english it's a new language for me

Are you playing on PC or Xbox? The Xbox version has had the servers turned off last September.

Kindly check the NAT type of your and your friend's network connection. Here's how:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

Under Current Network Status, the NAT Type field displays your current NAT type.

You need your NAT type and your friend's to be Open to resolve this issue. You also want to be sure there are no errors such as Double NAT detected or UPnP not successful displayed.

Start by checking to see if you’re getting any of the errors listed here:

NAT Type: Unavailable (displayed under Current Network Status on the Network screen)

Can’t get a Teredo IP address (displayed after running Test multiplayer connection on the Network screen)

Error code 0x89231906 (displayed when trying to join a party chat session)

Double NAT detected (displayed under Current Network Status on the Network screen)

Your NAT type determines whether you can successfully use multiplayer gaming or party chat.

Open NAT: You're able to play and host multiplayer games with people who have any NAT type on their network.

Moderate NAT: You might not be able to play multiplayer games with some people, and normally you won't be chosen as the host of a match.

Strict NAT: You're only able to play multiplayer games with people who have an OPEN NAT type. You can't be chosen as the host of a match.

Unavailable NAT: If NAT is unavailable, you’ll be unable to use party chat or connect to multiplayer games for some Xbox titles.

Yeah its a cool little game, only really tried single player so not sure of the mp side of things.

One of them games that seem it hardest at the beginning then gets easier (maybe just me thou)...also riding about on my bike and road rage killing bears/ zombies will never get old

I understand how stressful these days are.

The good news is that I tried something new and ... IT WORKED !!!

I deleted my user. I deleted the game, RESET the X-Box.

In sequence:
I logged in (recovering the data from the cloud), downloaded the game again, with a difference: reinstalled on the internal HD of the XBox.

I have more than 350 online games that work NORMALLY on my external hard drive (4Tb). Only the 7 Days Die game presented problems.

Anyway, end of story. Happy ending.
