    What does tax invoice mean

    I have received tax invoices in the past. In my country, it is sort of mandatory to send a ‘tax invoice’ for purchases. It’s possible where you stay, that is becoming a requirement as well.

    I have enquired about this with my tax guy, and he says, this is useful for folks who are claiming some sort of ‘tax credit’ from the government for deductions and stuff. He said it does not apply to me, so, that is the extent of my understanding of such an email.

    I usually just ignore it.
