so i pre-ordered a game, but i regret buying it, can i cancel the order? i havent paid anything yet because the game is not yet out. please help me! Thanks.

PAID PRE-ORDER TERMS
If you decide to cancel a paid pre-order funds paid will appear in your ShopTo.Net account balance. If you request this balance to be refunded back to your card an administration fee of £0.70p will be deducted from your refund total.
In the event of a pre-order dropping in price we will credit the difference paid back to your ShopTo.Net account balance upon the item shipping.
Once a paid pre-order has been made due to the different costs of our various delivery options you are not able to change the delivery method selected. If you would like to change your delivery method please cancel and re-order.

I have bolded the part relating to prepaid preorders, whether that be a console, or a game, that you order, pay for in full and then change your mind, BEFORE ANY GOODS SHIP.

You need to ask to refund to be cancelled. You can first try the auto function in
Sign in to your Microsoft account if doesnt get, you will need to contact the official Xbox Support. They are the only ones that can determine if a refund is possible or not.

You can log into your Microsoft account on the website and navigate to recent purchases and select to get help with the order or you can visit Contact Us | Xbox Support and
open an online support chat with the Xbox support team to request the refund. Please note purchases on the Xbox Store are final but you may qualify for a once-off refund.
