Please help I can't play 360 games on my Xbox1 anymore.

I have an xbox1 and last week I turned on the xbox360 profile protection option online because it showed someone tried to use it. So now I have to download load my profile for360 games on any new xbox360 or xbox1. Nice bit of security I thought! So to do
this I need to know my email and password but when I type it in it says wrong password. Well it is not the wrong password or how am I logged in here??? I have tried it several times and I am not entering anything wrong. Again proof of this is the fact I am
logged in here. Please help if you can, anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it? I can't turn this new security option off because there is no where to do that. But most of all I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else so be careful of activating
this security option. Thank you for reading this I hope you can help me.

SteeledWand your the best, thank u a million times boss. No the two-step is its own security option but thanks to you I found out it doesn'tlike this new 360 profilr protection. Some others tried to help me with this but we had no luck. They never heard
of it before so they even went to their accounts to see what "360 profile protection" was and it being new none of us had a clue. I don't know how new this security option is but it was the first time any of us had noticed it. It's right their in your online
360 security option in your Microsoft account and it is called"360 profile protection" in big highlighted letters. So yes I had on the two-step verification option on and all I had to do is turn it off. Now the 360 profile protection works perfectly. Thank
u again but I wondder two thing. 1) does Microsoft/XBox realize that the two security options are incapably of working at the sametime? 2) I wonder which is the better security option. I don't use my 360 anymore but I do play alot of 360 games on my XBox1.
I would imagine that the 360 part of my profile is more at risk and this is why I keep seeing people trying to login it from all over the world. 6 different time people tried to login to my older 360 account just last month. I didn'teven know that this was
possible because I used my 360 account to make my XBox1 account. Anyways thanks SteeledWand and I am sorry it has taken so long for me to read this. It is flooding here where I live so I have been putting things up higher in the garage. We had a good 4 inches
of water in it yesterday and add another 8 inches on top of that to get in the house. The water is on it's way back down now luckily the water only got high enough to get in the garage . Thank you and thanks to the others in the XBox community who tried to

The only thing that I can think of is this.

The 360s and TSV never played well with each other. This is quite possibly why they went the new route with the 360 security option.

I am going to have to look into that I had seen that on a different post before but never looked into it.

When you say you turned on the 360 profile protection I am assuming you mean two step verification.

360s do not like the two step verification so you are either going to need to turn off the two step verification or use the app password.

My xbox1 is the only thing on connected to my wifi, but when I turn on my 360 that still connects so doesnt seem to be how many is connected for me. Bought my xbox1 today and dying to play it. Please help.

You saying put the 360 game in Xbox1? I thought other topic said all 360 games in Xbox1 you get a can't read disc message?
