Please help: Destiny Rise Of Iron

ok, so a while back I bought Destiny: Rise of Iron for my pre-existing Destiny: The Taken King disc on the xbox store, and all was good.

I just recently upgraded to the Xbox One S from my older xbox one, and have run into a problem. I installed The Taken King from the disc without a problem, but when I went to the store to download Rise of Iron, it would not let me download it on its own.
It now only comes in a bundle with Destiny; The collection. I even tried to download it on my brothers account, which I think was the one we originally purchased Rise of Iron with. we have both profiles on the same Xbox and both play the game, but I was still
unsuccessful. I strongly feel like I'm being screwed over here. I do not, will not pay $79.99 for Rise of Iron, especially when I have already bought and own the full game.

If someone could please help me figure this out, their support would be much appreciated.

Child account lost ability to play downloaded content 'Rise of Iron' on our Home Xbox

Yesterday, my son was unable to continue playing the Rise of Iron content within Destiny. The game loads and allows access to the director screen but all 'Rise of Iron' content is blocked with a banner that say 'Rise of Iron Required'.

We have Rise of Iron installed properly on the console (I can play with my gamer tag) but it seems unable to accept that he is a valid user of that particular add-on.

Help Please.

Sorry to hear it. Please try backing out to the dashboard and highlight Destiny then press the start button on the controller. From there select Manage Game and go to Ready to Install. If the digital content was purchased on your account it will be listed
there waiting for you to install it.

If you had not previously purchased the content on your account but would like to then you'll need to start the game and click on the RoI icon to the right of Earth. After watching the trailer for content you should see an option to purchase it.

I seem to be getting something different.

I can't easily find "Destiny: Rise of Iron" in the store pages without doing a manual search for "Rise of Iron".

I get an add-on page for ROI, but there's no purchase/pre-order options. There's only a message that says "(!) Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently not available."

Could you please attempt these steps listed here to see if you can get the content:

In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

1. You can sign into your account via this link here:
www.microsoft.com/.../c3tbg0pc3fc9 and buy the DLC

Or

2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

Now you also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.
