Please help! Audio problems!

So I downloaded the Forza Horizon 2 demo on the XBone (and absolutely LOVED it) but I have this audio problem! I can't hear the dialogue in the game! Not in the intro, cutscenes or even the Radio DJ. Everything else is fine and no problem whatsoever. I don't
have any problems with the other games and I've already checked my settings in the console and in the game. I've tried deleting it and re-installing it but nothing works!

Help anyone?

Could you explain a little clearer what your issue is exactly. Is it console sounds, games, or no sound at all on your TV?.

I've checked the sound effects option, and it's enabled so don't try to say that's my problem. No sound, rarely if i restart enough it will. Yes, there is video, but no sound. I need help

 

I had the same problem Raicrow, but it may not be for the same reasons.

I changed my audio in Settings > Display & Sound > Digital Audio. I can't remember what they were set to, but my updated settings are as follows:

HDMI Audio - Bitstream out

Optical Audio - Bitstream out

Bitstream format - Dolby Digital

As a reference, I have HDMI from Xbox One > TV, then an optical out from TV to receiver. I hope this helps!

 

It's more likely the settings for audio channels. Stereo, 5.1, 7.1. Make sure that is on stereo, and check for a similar setting in game. If you only have two speakers, for example a standard tv set, the dialogue is sent to speakers that aren't there. Setting
it to stereo sends all sounds to your tv's speakers.
