You will not get banned unless you did something wrong to get all these followers. If nothing wrong was done, you can rest at ease. This is a known situation and you will not get suspended just because many people/bots started following you.

I’m just getting notifications that someone followed you and they keep popping up for the next 20 minutes and then I check and I now have 400 more followers, so idk if someone is trying to get me banned or what I just don’t want it to happen that’s why I reported it

Actually, there are some reports about this that bots are being used to follow active users on Xbox so they can also be followed back for them to look legit and possibly use that account for fraud.

If they do not look legit to you, I suggest to just block them or just make sure not to follow them back. But this feature is already bound with Xbox and cannot be removed or avoided.

Just also make sure you set your privacy settings properly where they cannot view your information.

You won't get banned for the number of followers you have. If you believe they are fake/bot accounts, then report and block the accounts using the Xbox reporting feature. Some similar happened to me just now but I don’t know who just spent the money . somebody jus spent 900 dollars on a Xbox using my card I’m tryna get my money back
