PLEASE Fix The 0x803FB005 Error Code When Installing The Xbox App on Windows 11

Click on the green button that says "Report" and fill in the information as detailed as possible.

This way Xbox will know that there is a problem with the app and they can work to fix it as soon as possible.

One reply on this thread from today notes a recent update to both Windows and the Xbox app - maybe it's related and it all gets fixed with a Windows update? I've tried everything I could find online (including reinstalling Windows) and nothing worked. Hoping this gets noticed and fixed by Microsoft soon

Before you go and do another fresh install, perhaps you can:

• Insure your O.S is up to date
  
• Try repairing and restarting the Xbox App.

Hi guys,

Exact same issue, new install of Windows 10 and the "Gaming Servies" app won't install thanks to the 0x803FB005 error. Second day now and it still won't work, having done all the suggested methods for fixing the issue. Not a good first experience with the
Windows 10 gaming platform...

I have re-upgraded to windows 11, but unfortunately the error code comes up again.

When I press the install button for the XBOX app, the error comes up after a while.

I also did a clean install of the XBOX app, but to no avail.
