please fix gifting games across account regions

I do not believe your account would let you carry your games over across regions. I do know that you cannot successfully gift games across region, and I believe that would affect games you own via region.

This page has details that outline issues that might affect you across regions for services and subscriptions. It doesn't specifically call out games, but I believe that there will be issues if you try to purchase games for a region that your account and/or
console are not set to. I would not advise it.

You will need to contact support to see if they will be able to assist you.

1. The account that purchased the game.

2. The account that received the gift.

They must be both on the same region. The region that you are currently located.

Note that game's can't be gifted across different regions. The gift code that you purchase would only be valid in your own store region.

Unfortunately the gifting feature is not available for use across different regions.

Your friend will need to request a refund and either send you the amount through a PayPal account or transfer it to a bank account/credit card that is linked to your profile.
