Please fix 8007007A fault.

Anybody actually working on the fault? Many posts now. Profiles wont download after following the 'advice' to delete and reload either.

UPDATE: Issue is fixed.

Turns out microsoft, for some reason or another, deleted my hotmail alias, so it didnt work for signing in, but could still receeve emails.

So the alias was removed, i can now log into my xbox correctly, but now EVERY.SINGLE.ACCOUNT associated with my hotmail.com email address no longer works.

i asked them if they could repopulate the alias so i could change my email address, and forward my important mails (like my god damned flight tickets which are now gone) but i've had ZERO response as soon as i said i could log into my xbox now.

thanks microsoft, problem *** fixed i guess...

This was posted a few days ago, support please look into this . It's a widespread problem on the 360 for almost a week now.

mother $#@! I had my profile backed up on a thumb drive but it got deleted while trying to download my profile back onto the console hard drive from what I've read you can't download from a friends console without the error either.

Hi Mister Getafix, I won't speak for Vondubs but in my case none of the steps in your troubleshooting method have resolved this issue. The only thing I managed to get back after speaking with XBL customer support was a refund on
my Gold subscription.

 

As I said. Have tried ALL recommendations and routes to solve this - but still nothing. Gamer tag is recognised on pop up "downloading profile" - but after 3 seconds it "fails to download" and states 8007007A and "try later"

Multiple attempts. Nothing

I pay for live - so not happy

 

In this case hang in there as the proper teams are investigating the issue.
