    I did some reading and discovered that playstation added a firmware update to their consoles to allow gamers the HDR experience on their 1080p tvs. Some gamers live on a tight budget and only have a 720p or 1080p tv. These consumers are more likely to buy the series s console like myself. Why can't Microsoft develop a similar firmware update for our machines, so we can enjoy HDR like our playstation brothers and sisters? I've read in the forums that some people have bought 1440p monitors for their series s, quite naturally because 1440p is the optimum resolution for the cheaper console, ONLY to find they are blocked from switching on HDR for their games because of a decision to lock HDR to 4k only, on microsoft's gaming machines. This seems shortsighted and unfair. Games do look good in lower resolutions with HDR enabled. Movies too, hence why the Netflix app allows playstation users to watch their content in 1080p HDR. It would be good to get some feedback from Microsoft, one way or another. Best Wishes everyone!!

    Skyrim Legendary edition isn't recognised by Series X console

    I totally understand, however, the game has its own version that can be played on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S and the 360 version game is not backward-compatible, even if we want to it is not designed to be played on the Xbox Series X|S console.

    Xbox One games can be played on the Series S/X, but Series S/X games cannot be played on the One.

    You sir are wrong. I have a 4K HDR tv and the xbox one X looks superior to the xbox series S. Even the textures load faster on xbox one X. Series S shouldn't even be considered next gen in my opinion. Xbox Series S gives off the worse picture I ever seen. Xbox series S only has 4 terraflops. My xbox one X has 6 terraflops. So you should consider the false information you are spreading. We trying to get some real answers here
