Guns are better balanced although some still shine above others.

Get Back to Karkand regardless, best maps in this game.

If you like CoD style gameplay, get close quarters.

If you like large vehicle heavy maps, you'll like Armored Kill.

I like them all at least somewhat.

They pratically change the game when new DLC hits (since they have this genius plan of releasing the patches with a 14Gb update tthat contains the new maps etc)

So it's hard to nail down what they changed since you last played. The biggest change that I can think of outside of vehicles is the weapon attachments. They got a massive over-haul in April and now they do different things.
