Please bear with me, im just a mom. My son just purchased Call of Duty 3 for his Xbox one S.

Once he started playing he realized its speaking french. I attempted to try to move thru the menu screen but I do not see a language option.

After googling a bit maybe others have had this same issue about the game being delivered in french? Is this something I can fix or did microsoft store send him a french version?

Hi i had the same problem with my sons game it would not load and just boot him back to the home screen. I did the reboot power cycle and it worked. Thank you for the advice one happy son= one happy mom 😁

This is not an answer is just more detail of the problem I have. The game is called call of duty black ops 3 with a dlc and the version of the xbox one s is 10.0.18363.8119

Im trying to play gears of war 1,gears of war 3 ,gears of war judgement,and saintrow the third,call of duty black ops 2 ,call of duty black ops 1 ,peggle1, just dance 3 , just dance 2014 grand theft auto iv,bejeweled 3,kinect advetures,call of duty modern
warfare, and other downloadable games on the xbox 360 to xbox one

Thanks again for the answers. Now that I am ready to buy....should I simply buy the Xbox one since that is what his Mom has? I'd rather buy the Xbox S since it is more advanced, but want to avoid issues of backwards/forwards compatibility. How difficult
would it be for my son to use Xbox One at his mom's and then use Xbox one S at my place? TIA.
