Playstation to xbox party chat

Unfortunately there hasn't been any news about that being added from Microsoft and Sony.

You are correct, Playstation 3's Gimped hardware architecture is the reason there's no party chat.

Playstation Home is naff, personally, the Party Chat system is worth the price of an Xbox Live Sub alone.

On that platform only, yes.

I did not use Xbox party chat at all because I play with people on PC as well as PlayStation.
