PlayStation account linking error

To answer your question, there might be no other way to link another Microsoft account to your PlayStation account. However, you may try to reach out to PlayStation for assistance about your concern. As once the Microsoft account was linked to your PlayStation, you no longer be able to link another one, based on Minecraft support article:

Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation™ Network account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be associated with a different account.

You will not be able to link another Microsoft account to your PlayStation account.

This error message typically occurs when your Microsoft account is already linked to another PlayStation account. To link it to your current PlayStation account, you'll need to unlink the Microsoft account from the previous PlayStation account.

Usually that message appears when you had an account linked to your PSN account.
And right now unlink a Microsoft account from a PSN account is not possible.

If you're more than sure that you're using the correct account / you never linked an account previously

For your description of your problem with linking Microsoft accounts on Sony's Playstation reporting an error, have you played minecraft on the Playstation before or linked another account, if so, you can follow your method below:

Again, this is a Sony restriction. It is not a restriction imposed by Microsoft/Minecraft.Looking forward to your reply.
