PlayStation 4 controller not detected by Device Manager

I know it's a driver problem, but when I try to use YouTube tutorials, it never works. I've tried DS4 Windows. The controller doesn't even pop up as an Xbox 360 controller anymore. The USB sound doesn't play when I plug it in. It doesn't charge. Steam doesn't detect it, even.

I can help you with couple things to try, but if the issue persists you may need to refer to third apps to use properly the controller, due to Dualshock 4 support for windows is limited from Sony side

The controller works fine on the console?
If yes, may I know if you tried using another USB cable and connect it to your PC?
Or connect it to a different USB port?

And, is this the first time you use the controller?
Which windows version are you using? 11 or 10?

I bought a xbox one controller with cable for my computer, I use windows 7 and I can not run my stick. It is not detected in peripheral and the printer driver is not detected in the device manager. I did everything updated, Driver Uninstall I know what to
do.

Thanks to your hint I could locate and uninstall the device. Sadly, after restarting the controller was not detected. Also it didn't show up in the device manager again.

Checking Windows Update, but no update seems to be available. Build 1903.

Hey GustyIsCrusty! Are you able to update the drivers at all or does the computer not recognize that the controller is connected. If it does not show a device or unidentified device in the Device Manager, you should try a different cable as the PC is most
likely not detecting it. If possible, post up some screenshots of what you're seeing so we can take a look. Thanks!

such devices are not allowed to be used on Xbox, but Activision is the one that controls all online play aspects of call of duty. They have implemented many server-side techniques to detect cheaters and they banned them by the thousands. But no detection system is perfect, especially with a device specifically designed to avoid detection.

Bans to carry evidence which means they need to catch you in the act which is part of what you reporting both of the Xbox side and the call of duty side accomplishes
