Playing Zoo Tycoon: Complete Collection legally in 2023

Hello,

I have a disc copy of Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection from 2003 (I realize this is from Microsoft Game Studios, however this is the closest support page I could find, so if there is a better place for me to reach out to please let me know). Unfortunately, the game has SafeDisc copy protection and cannot be played on Windows 10 or later. There is no version of this game on the Microsoft Store, GOG, Steam, or any other digital distribution platform (to clarify, I don't want ZT2 or especially not the modern Zoo Tycoon Ultimate Animal Collection). Is there any way for me to play this legitimately purchased game on a modern device (Windows 11, or maybe Linux Mint if necessary)?

I have attached a picture of the game to prove I have purchased it legitimately.

you would need a no disc hack, that is the only way to get around this issue, or use vitrual box to run windows xp and install the game on the virtual xp pc, it will run perfectly like this.

I'm not sure if there's an actual list out there at the moment as there are apparently close to 200 animals to choose from including South America and Africa

1. Add DAY AND NIGHT CYCLES (I've played Zoo Tycoon 2 PC version, it would be super fun having a night life in Zoo Tycoon. In real-world, certain zoo's have after hours animal enclosure activities like Auckland Zoo and Taronga Zoo Sydney Australia). 2. Increase
the limits in Zoo Tycoon. Especially for peps trying to build a big zoo in Freeform mode.
