playing with xobx on a ACER X34

Hello,

Just put m xbox with hdmi on my pc screen, it s an ACER X34 with 3440x1440 resolution on a 34'' screen.

Resolution given by the xbox : i only get low choices 1280 is "the best".

The screen of xbox is in the middle of the screen very small.

I know this screen is not in 4k but why cant all the screen be used ?

I try but nothing to do on the screen config..

Do i have any option to make display bigger on this kind of screen?

But thx for answer, i found a button in the screen after finding the screen notice...

and the game got only 2 black colums on each side, but it will be enough for me.

No 4k, but well, not a 4k Screen.

If you have a Xbox One S or regular Xbox One, these are limited to 1080p output during gameplay.

Only on 4K capable consoles can you get higher resolutions.

As for the display only being a tiny square on your screen: Check the Acer's on-screen menu settings for zooming non-native resolution images to full screen.

21:9 aspect ratio

Hi,

There is your issue. Xbox One only supports 1440P on 16:9 aspect ratios (2560x1440).

Xbox supports your vertical resolution (1440), but not your display's horizontal resolution of 3440.

I have no idea if MS will support 21:9 aspect ratio's on Xbox One in the future, although I believe Series X will.
