Playing on separate Xboxs on the same network.

Chad, as though you can have your account logged on both consoles at the same time, you cannot play games with the same account at the same time, okay? 1 account can only be playing 1 game at one console at a time. This could be possible if it was different accounts.

If you are trying to play with different accounts, you need to enable the account that has the games as " Home Xbox " on the console that will play with the other account, okay?

So accounts A and B.

Account A has the games. You need to enable account A as Home Xbox on the console that will be playing as account B, so account B can play those games normally.

Then account A can play normally on the other console with no worries.

Now, if you are saying playing on the same account on both consoles at the same time, it does not work, okay?

Here is how you enable Home Xbox:

" Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My Home Xbox.

Do either of the following to change the status of your console:

To make this your home Xbox, select Make this my home Xbox.

When you switch your home Xbox, your shared licenses will no longer be available to others playing on your old home console. You'll need to be signed in online to your old Xbox console to allow them to play your games and apps (when you’re not on your new home console). Your ability to play games while offline will also shift to your new home console. Redownloading or launching any games on the new home console will register the license to that console allowing for offline use.

You can switch your home Xbox up to five times in any one-year period. If you reach your limit for the year, we’ll show you the next available date you can change it. "

it will let us play on 2 separate xboxs in same house but not on the same xbox

Same problem for me. The Xbox One refuses to recognize my wireless network and tell´s me it´s the wrong network password.

It isn´t because 3 Iphones, 3 Ipads, two separate TV-sets and one PC finds the networks AND recognizes the same password.

This must be and hardware issue with the Xbox One!?

You can't exactly share Game Pass between accounts. The Home Xbox feature allows you to share Game Pass with any account on a console, but that's only possible on one console at a time.

So unless you had 2 or 3 people on the same console (the account which is subscribed to GP can play on a separate console which isn't the Home Xbox), it wouldn't be possible to play at the same time without separate subscriptions.
