Playing Jackenstein in Borderlands 2

Things that I discovered while playing the battle of Jackenstein in Borderlands 2.

Playing as "Zero," the man with high marksmanship with any weapon, I found that he's not that high of a marksman, even after leveling up to level 50. I was playing at level 50 battling the famous Jackenstien. What I discovered was that my controller
was being highjacked by a game controller. When I needed to switch weapons, the weapons would not swap? I would then be taken out by one of the Hyperion robots. There was nothing I could do to stop it. Other times, I found that when I pressed the button to
run, it would not respond the first time pushing the button. I had to push it a fast second time before Zero would run, therefor; causing a lose of 2 seconds out of the four that Zero has to escape-what a bummer. I wonder what causes that delay during battles.
When I'm not battling someone, it works fine.

I've been playing this game for about four months, about everyday. I am quite aware of the controls on the controller and how they work. I'm not new to the game, I played it for about five months two years ago. I have gotten pretty proficient in it.

I am very patient, I tried about 20 times to beat Jackenstein, was surely denied. Many times, I could not swap guns out when I needed too. I lost time tying to get my man to run when needed too. I know the buttons by feel, can't miss them. I
even took time to watch when I hit the button to swap guns, and they did not swap. This could only happen if when Microsoft downloads so-called updates for the game, which are really messages to give control of your controller to someone else. They try to
tell you it's all "AI" challenged, but for the game to deny me win out of twenty tries, and I am proficient, and fast thinking, someone else had to be running the game besides an "AI?"

I don't mind losing under normal circumstances, but to have someone cut me short, by taking control of my controller, is pathetic. Twenty times? Wasn't even close to a win. The reason for playing twenty times was to see how many times my controller would
not swap out my guns, and to see what other blockage would happen to me.

Remember this; If your having the same problem, and wonder if your controller is going bad, just restart the game and play it off-line. You'll find that your controller works just fine.and the problem is with the game controller operator, and not you or
your system.

Whoever the game controller was this day, he worked hard to make sure that I would not win against Jackenstien. He/she, surely lowered my interest in playing this game, and keeping my "Gold Alive," with Microsoft. I think it's pathetic that they have these
kind of controllers working for them. It surely doesn't help their image.

What games are you playing?

With the recent announcement of Borderlands 2, I've gone back and started playing Borderlands again. My loot addicition has returned and I fully expect to be back in rehab in around a month, which should keep me busy until Borderlands 2 hits.



Inbetween that I'm playing Toy Soldiers: Cold War. Damn good fun.
