Playing games on replacement console

As MCGaminX already said, your purchased games are tied to your Microsoft Account.

Simply sign in with your Microsoft Account on the new console, and if you had your games on an external drive, you simply plug in that drive into your new console, and you don't even have to download the games on that drive.

The most important thing is, that you REALLY use the SAME Microsoft Account email that you used on the old console!

If you use a different email to sign in to the new console, it's as if you are a completely different user, with no game purchases. And even if you have your games on an external drive from your old console, it won't work.

You will HAVE TO use the same Microsoft Account email as before!

but its a new refurb console complete. only thing from old is hard drive?

refurb from Microsoft? or a refurb from some other 3rd party?

I have bought a refurb console from a 3rd party, and im thinking it could of been modified, and i might be banned.

Reading on other problems like this, it seems this is an error created when a dvd drive that is not your original drive is replaced into your console.
