Playing Games and DLC from one account with a new account

Is there a way to play games and DLC bought with my original xboxlive account with a new/separate xboxlive account?

Hey MesshallCook,

Thank you responding. If you are planning on using the Xbox One and 360 simultaneously, you should be good to go. You only have to worry about signing yourself out when using two 360s or Xbox Ones at the same time. Hope this helped.

You can do that just make sure your original xbox account is on the xbox you have the new account on and make sure your original xbox acciunt is set as my home xbox so you can play those games/dlc on your other account

Ah! okay thanks! Do you know if this will cause any conflict if I have the Xbox with the original account running a game and then the other Xbox with the new account also running the same game at the same time? it shouldn't right?

I'm planning to buy an Xbox One... move what games and dlc I can to that... but then allow my roommate to still use the Xbox 360 and am concerned that if both consoles are running, he (or I) would get knocked off the account/network.

You can't transfer anything between accounts.

However you can play DLC from your old account on the new. Simply recover your old account and do a license transfer, you'll find the instructions as the second question on the link OWEN provided.

Then download the DLC. sign out of your old account and then into your new one. Now you'll have access to that DLC.
