Playing Forza Horizon 5 with 2 different Xbox gamertags using the same Microsoft store...

Thank you for your response. If you want to play the game Forza Horizon 5 on the Xbox app, you will need to purchase the Xbox game version on the Microsoft Store:

Since you have purchased the game on Steam, you can only play it on the Steam Launcher. You won't be able to find your Steam games on the Xbox app library as they have their respective launchers.

Remember that Steam and Xbox PC are 2 different gaming clients.

The family group is not meant to share games or subscriptions and the PC does not have the same feature as the console has ''home Xbox''.

A workaround, which might work, log in with your Microsoft Store app account on your brother's PC, download the game, and on the Xbox app your brother must use his own account to play the game.

On your PC you will play normally with your account and you don't have to do anything. Hope it works.

I'm good. I tried the workaround and it does work! I am now able to play online with my brother with no issues except for some random crashing due to bugs which I hope will be patched in future update patches.

Is this happening only with Forza Horizon 5?
Are you playing the version available on the Xbox app/Microsoft store or are you playing the one from Steam?
Is this happening with more games from the Microsoft store or just Forza Horizon 5?
May I know if you tried using a different internet connection in your PC?
And what procedures you tried to fix this inconvenience?

If you got forza 5 with game with gold you should be ok, the only time you will not be able to download it or play it is if your gold runs out but just renew and you get it back.

dont look for it in the store as forza 5 was delisted a while ago same as forza horizon 2.
